History

             Mandapam Parish was bifurcated and established on 05.05.96 through the separation from Mandapam Camp. The occasion of its creation coincided with the Golden Jubilee of the Canonization of St. John de Britto, who became its patron saint. Notably, this parish holds the tomb of Blessed Antony Criminalee, a martyr laid to rest at Vedalai, a source of pride for the parishioners.
